Grace Stuart, RDN
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Hello! I am Grace, a registered dietitian with a passion for nutrition and a commitment to helping individuals lead healthier lives. My journey in the field of nutrition began at California State University, Long Beach, where I attended for my undergraduate and graduate studies, focusing on nutrition throughout the lifespan and nutritional science. This academic foundation has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of how dietary choices impact health at every stage of life.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience across various areas of nutrition. I have had the privilege of working in skilled nursing facilities, where I provided nutritional support to patients with diverse needs, ensuring they received the nutrition support and care required to enhance their well-being. Additionally, I have specialized in the treatment of eating disorders, where I have developed a compassionate and holistic approach to support individuals on their journey toward recovery and healthier relationships with food. My expertise also extends to renal dietetics, where I worked with patients to manage their dietary needs with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) while considering their unique health challenges.
Originally from Austin, Texas, I bring a piece of my Southern roots to my practice, infusing a love for cooking into my approach to nutrition education. I enjoy preparing and sharing meals that reflect the rich culinary traditions of Southern, Mediterranean, and Tex-Mex cuisine. I believe that food is not just fuel, but an integral part of culture and community, and I strive to incorporate this philosophy into my work.
When I am not helping clients achieve their nutritional goals, I can often be found enjoying the great outdoors. I have a deep appreciation for wildlife and nature, and love engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, snowboarding, and fishing. These experiences not only provide me with personal joy but also inspire me to encourage my clients to embrace an active lifestyle, recognizing the interplay between physical activity and nutrition.
